The last of the days sun weaves it's gentle strands of light through the cracks and crevices of marble and limestone. Silken strands of gold cut off quickly by the damp underbelly of shade that rolls along the cemetery lawn. This is where the Ghosts materialize, they crawl up from sediment and soil to play in the shadows.
The "Silken Sunshadows" Rings feature incredible lattice moonstone that shifts from golden to the deepest shade of grey, like sunbeams in rolling fog. Each stone sits on a floral bouquet ring band forged from an early 19th century antique spoon. The design on the spoon reminded me so much of the floral patterns engraved into the marble of many mausoleums in the famous Saint Louis Cemetery in New Orleans, Louisiana.
